About Cyclehoop Cyclehoop is a UK leader in cycle parking infrastructure, committed to making cycling safe, secure, and accessible for everyone. As we expand our services across Scotland, we’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead our activity on the ground. Role Overview This is a pivotal role in establishing and growing our Scottish operations. You’ll oversee the delivery of cycle parking installations, maintenance services, and warehouse operations across the region. In the early stages, you’ll be actively involved in carrying out the work yourself - assembling products, installing on-site, performing maintenance, and managing local logistics. As demand grows, you’ll help build and lead a small team to support service delivery. You’ll work closely with our London-based operations team to ensure high standards and efficient resource use. The role is based in Scotland’s Central Belt, with initial warehouse operations located in Kirkcaldy. As most work is currently concentrated around Glasgow, we plan to relocate the warehouse closer to the city in the near future to improve operational efficiency. Travel beyond these areas and occasional overnight stays is to be expected, along with irregular overtime and weekend working as required. Key Responsibilities Deliver and oversee cycle parking installations, planned/reactive maintenance, and warehouse operations Liaise with the Installations Coordinator and Maintenance Manager to support local delivery of centrally planned work Organise daily workload, materials, and staffing to meet scheduled targets Personally carry out site and warehouse tasks as required Recruit, train, and supervise a small team of operatives (internal or agency) as the operation grows Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Manage stock levels, tools, and equipment at the local warehouse Act as the local point of contact for client and operational issues Maintain accurate records and report regularly to the Head of Operations Support onboarding and training of future hires in Scotland Person Specification Essential Practical experience in construction, highways, or a related field Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Comfortable with tools, manual handling, and site-based work Basic understanding of health and safety best practices Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience supervising or leading small teams NRSWA qualifications NVQ Diploma in Construction Management CSCS Black Card Forklift, ALLMI, or other relevant qualifications Background in logistics, public realm works, or infrastructure installations Experience working with local authorities or clients on-site What We Offer Competitive salary: £37,000–£42,000, depending on experience Opportunity to lead and grow our Scottish operations Training and development in operations and leadership Clear progression path into a Regional Operations Manager role Cycle-to-work scheme Matched pension contributions up to 5% Annual profit share bonus Employee discounts Job Type: Full-time Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Sick pay Work Location: In person
