Behaviour Support Assistants required \n\nWest London\n\nASAP and September Start\n\n£95-£110 per day\n\nVeritas Education works with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.\n\nWe are currently working with an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in West London that is seeking experienced Behaviour Support Assistants to join their team as soon as possible or from September 2025.\n\nThe school supports students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, and is looking for individuals who are resilient, supportive, and committed to helping young people succeed in a structured and nurturing environment.\n\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Behaviour Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:\n\nProviding 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs\nPromoting positive behaviour and helping manage challenging situations\nSupporting students' academic and emotional development in class\nWorking collaboratively with teaching staff to implement personalised support strategiesThe Ideal Candidate:\n\nHas previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural difficulties\nPossesses strong behaviour management skills\nIs enthusiastic, proactive, and patient\nCan build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff\nHas experience using effective learning and engagement strategies\nBackground in youth work, support work, care, or education is highly valuedIf you are interested in this opportunity, please respond to this advert with your CV, clearly outlining your relevant experience.\n\nWe look forward to hearing from you! \n\nAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION\n\nAll applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy\nYour CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained\nYou must have legal right to work in the UK\nYou must be willing to attend a registration interviewVeritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.
