Europe's #1 Integrated Defence Company seeks a highly ambitious FCAS Systems Engineer to help support the delivery of its 2040 Vision for Future Systems Programs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Exploring Customer needs to develop and elicit requirements
* Support and influence the design of new concepts to refine them with a multi-discipline team
* Concept capability analysis and competitor product technical performance analysis;
* Trade Studies and assessment
* Support future weapon system planning and product roadmaps
* Develop and deploy systems engineering methods and technical authorisation;
* Technical bid generation and support to contract award
* Support customer-focused experiments using a wide range of techniques and tools, including war games and synthetic environments
* Exploiting and influencing Research and Technology activities
Essential Experience:
* Confidently navigate uncertainty during early concept development and emerging technology adoption to advance effective solutions and system concepts.
* Possess strong Systems Engineering knowledge, openness to innovative techniques, and commitment to robust concept development and comprehensive system trade studies.
* Weapons systems and missile design, including systematic trade study execution.
* In-depth understanding of weapon systems, platforms, and missile sub-systems.
* Skilfully negotiate and influence diverse internal and external partners for optimal outcomes.
* Proficient in DOORS, Rhapsody, and various analysis tools like Pugh Matrix and QFD.
* Expert in Requirements Gathering, Use Case analysis, System Architecture Design, and Functional Modelling.
* Adept at performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis.
* Model-Based Systems Engineering - particularly MBSE with Matlab/Simulink.
Benefits Package:
* Base salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DoE)
* Annual Bonus: Circa £2,500 per annum - Pro-Rata
* Annual Salary Review: Increase varies year to year and is based on individual performance – up to 6.5% uplift in 2023
* Dynamic Pay (Overtime): Flat rate (1.00) Mon- Fri and at 1.25 on weekends. Optionally accrued after contracted 38 hours working week
* Dynamic Leave (Flexi Leave): Non-contractual benefit of up to 15 days a year of additional leave. This is where individuals have worked beyond their regular contractual hours to respond to business needs.
* Pension: Pension 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
* Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Share Incentive Plan: Opportunity to purchase shares via payroll before tax and NI.
* Company Sick Pay: This ranges from 6 weeks for the first six months of service and scales up to 48 weeks after five years of service.
