Customer Service and Sales Advisor, Stratford-upon-Avon
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service and Sales Advisor to join our client's growing team in Stratford. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with a positive and helpful experience. Whether it's answering queries, resolving issues, or offering advice, you will be a key part of our customer journey.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Customer Service and Sales Advisor represents the company both on the phone and face-to-face to wholesale and retail customer base. Identify new sales leads, work with customers to find their needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
You will focus primarily on managing and expanding trade accounts, while also ensuring high levels of customer service and contributing to team success. This role is heavily focused on trade sales and business development, along with dedicated time to customer service, teamwork, and supporting the broader sales team.
Based in rural Stratford, you must drive and have your own transport to be considered. Please note, there are no public transport links to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer inbound telephone calls/live chat enquiries professionally and handle customer queries and sales from start to completion
* Complete accurate quotations at customers’ request
* Follow all quotations up in a timely manner to close the sale
* Determine customer eligibility for a trade account through conversations; open accounts, communicate terms, and payment details
* Research and identify new potential customers
* Review and manage stock and product orders regularly
* Use provided data to prospect customers – lapsed, dormant, downtrading, trading, and new
* Use targeted offers to build relationships with customers; open trade accounts where appropriate
* Identify process improvements to enhance customer experience and present ideas to management for feedback and approval

* Full UK driving licence
Additional Information:
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with 1-hour lunch
* Working 1 in 3 Saturdays (WFH), 8:30 am - 12 pm
* Salary: circa £25,000 - £26,000, dependent on experience
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
