Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: NP26 Contract Type: Full Time / Part Time Pay: Weekly pay Teaching Personnel are recruiting a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a range of primary schools in the NP26 area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can work confidently across all primary year groups, including Early Years and Nursery, and is comfortable in busy, fast-paced school environments. About the Role Support pupils across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 settings Assist with learning activities in the classroom and during small group work Provide 1:1 support to pupils where required Support daily routines, transitions and play-based learning in EYFS Help manage a busy classroom environment with varying pupil needs Promote positive behaviour and engagement Work closely with teachers and support staff across the school Adapt quickly to different classes, routines and age groups The Ideal Candidate Proactive, flexible and confident in a school setting Comfortable working with children of different ages and abilities Experience working with children (schools, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar) Calm, patient and able to manage busy environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Willing to support children with additional needs when required Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Weekly pay Opportunities to work across a range of primary schools Free CPD including Safeguarding, EYFS and ALN Awareness Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant Long-term opportunities and career progression If you are a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and thrives in busy primary settings, we would love to hear from you.
