As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping every student reach their full potential. The Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant In this rewarding role, you'll support students with additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. You'll work closely with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Provide one-to-one and small group interventions for students with additional needs. Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Help track and record student progress, ensuring personalised support. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes student wellbeing. About You We're looking for graduates who are passionate about education and eager to learn. Essential Qualities: Genuine interest in working with young people and supporting SEN. Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude with good organisational skills. Requirements: A bachelor's degree (any subject). Previous experience with children or young people is desirable. Full-time availability from November for at least two terms. Enhanced DBS and references covering the last 10 years. Right to work in the UK. Why Join This School?
