Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bournemouth. This permanent role involves the maintenance and repair of aircraft and equipment, ensuring mission success starts with skilled and dedicated individuals like you.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupervise and certify work within terms of company authorisation on technical logs or worksheets.\nPerform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance inspections, defect rectification, modifications, and service bulletins.\nEnsure compliance with maintenance documentation and company procedures, including all SHE-related aspects.\nComplete work cards timely and accurately record additional defects found.\nReport critical defects immediately and work on developing solutions with the supervisor.\nMaintain aircraft/components assigned by the supervisor, including at detached locations.\nCoordinate with necessary departments to complete tasks efficiently.\nManage budget constraints and highlight potential financial risks.\nOversee ground movement of aircraft as assigned, and deputise for the SLAE in their absence.\nPerform safety checks before and during aircraft maintenance, particularly during functional tests.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nSignificant experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.\nFalcon 20 type rating preferred.\nExperience in a line maintenance operation acting as a certifier, with familiarity in base maintenance.\nExperience on pressurised twin-engine turbine/turbo-prop aircraft above 5700KG.\nProven supervisory experience leading teams with a successful track record of delivery.\nStrong leadership and motivational skills.\nCommercial acumen with experience working to tight deadlines and budgetary requirements.\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive salary\nComprehensive benefits package\nUp to 12% matching pension contributions\nBonus incentives\nDiscounted PMI\nElectric car scheme\nTech vouchers\nWellbeing programmes\nAnd much more\nOur client values diversity and is committed to eliminating unlawful and unfair discrimination.
