Cleaning Operative role at Pareto Facilities Management Ltd

Site: GHS York
Responsibilities
* To conform to the cleaning specification and schedules and carry out cleaning duties as required with a view to continuously develop and improve quality standards.
* To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues, and others who may be affected by your work activities.
* To carry out window cleaning inline with the correct specifications and health and safety standards.
* Update supervisor of any changes on site.
* Liaise with supervisor/line manager to review sites and review work on Jobber allocation system.
* Be punctual and attend for duty as requested.
* To achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit.
* To continuously develop and improve quality standards.
* To meet managers, clients, and company expectations.
* To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client.
* To ensure that products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored.
* To use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate.
* Ensure that your appearance and conduct comply with the expectations of the company and that the appropriate clothing/PPE is worn.
* Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience: The job holder will be required to have experience within cleaning.
* Interpersonal Skills: When dealing with client personnel at all levels, use tact and diplomacy to obtain cooperation.
* Responsibility: The job holder is responsible for checking the quality of their work and supervising less experienced staff when required.
* Physical Resource Management: Care of tools and materials, confidentiality on all matters pertaining to Pareto and the client.
* Communication: Oral and written communication with the site manager and client’s staff; liaison with contractors and visitors as required.
* Liaison: Interactions with client personnel, inspectors and governing bodies as needed.
* Mental Demands: Judgement, decision making, concentration, and problem solving; flexibility to adapt to priorities and sometimes work outside of general duties.
* Working Conditions: Primarily inside, with varying conditions on site.
