This Role
Sales and Account Management
* Meet budgeted sales and margin targets for the branch.
* Pricing – Manage agreed pricing policy in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
* Monitor market price levels and agree strategy with Branch Manager.
* Set and review branch Sales Development Plan to drive branch sales and margin performance.
* Recognise poor sales performance and take steps to address in conjunction with Branch Manager.
* Proactively maintain and support branch accounts.
* Organise regular supplier and product training.
* Conduct regular ledger reviews with sales staff and set actions to improve customer spend.
* Carefully manage key accounts as well as seek out new opportunities.
