ADHD Clinical Lead – Neurodevelopmental Services
Location: This is primarily a remote role based from home. While our administrative base is in Devon, we’re keen to shape the working model collaboratively with the successful candidate. Ideally, this would include occasional in-person attendance at staff meetings.
Salary: £66000 to £76000 per annum Pro-rata
Commitment: Full time 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced ADHD Clinical Lead with a strong background in neurodevelopmental services, particularly in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The successful candidate will be a key player in shaping the future of our services, ensuring high standards of clinical care, and leading a team of clinicians to deliver exceptional support to our patients.
This role will involve overseeing the clinical operations of neurodevelopmental services, supporting the growth and development of clinical teams, and driving the strategic direction of our services. You will be directly involved in managing complex cases, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture that continuously enhances patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership and oversight of our clinical teams, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained in all assessments, diagnoses, and treatments related to ASD and ADHD.
* Service Development: Work closely with the Clinical Operations Director and senior management to develop and implement new clinical pathways, ensuring that services evolve to meet the needs of our growing patient base.
* Team Support & Growth: Mentor, supervise, and support clinical staff, facilitating their professional development and ensuring they have the tools and guidance to excel in their roles. Help recruit and expand the team as we grow.
* Quality Assurance & Governance: Lead on clinical governance, conducting regular audits, and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure that all services are delivered in line with the highest clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Learning & Development, and Governance, to ensure cohesive service delivery across all areas of the organization.
* Performance Management: Oversee the performance and development of the clinical team, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring that any performance issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
Skills and Experience we Are Looking For:
* Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ASD and ADHD, ideally with a background in leading or managing clinical teams.
* Leadership Experience: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team while ensuring high standards of patient care.
* Qualifications: A relevant clinical qualification in psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, or another relevant discipline, with additional qualifications or experience in ADHD/ASD services being highly desirable.
* Strategic Thinking: A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to shape clinical services and implement changes that enhance patient care and service efficiency.
* Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to continuous improvement, patient-centred care, and maintaining high clinical standards across all services.
