Base pay: £12.72 per hour (subject to skills and experience).
Shift pattern: Part‑time, 21 hours per week.
Shift times: 07:30 am – 03:00 pm / 02:45 pm – 10:15 pm.
Role Overview
Shaw healthcare is a Real Living Wage employer looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Orchard House in Withington. You will support the Team Leader and manage medication, ensuring high quality care, assisting service users, and maintaining a strong relationship with families and health‑care professionals.
Responsibilities
* Provide nursing and therapeutic support to residents.
* Support the Team Leader and manage medication administration.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and health‑care professionals.
* Write up care plans and record progress.
* Adhere to guidelines, policies, and health‑care standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Flexible, patient, caring, organised, and able to work with people.
* Completed or working toward a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
