Senior Care Assistant at HC One

Your role will involve planning and delivering care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for our residents. You'll build relationships with residents and their families to develop personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties include assisting with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and providing social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities of this role.
Qualifications include ideally a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with a willingness to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is preferred. The essential qualities are positive energy, strong communication skills, good record-keeping, time management, and kindness.
