Manage the DNO NTOG Strategic Movement programme, ensure that it is deconflicted with wider DNO NTOG transport programming. Represent the DNO NTOG where the Strategic Movement programme, wider system issues or detailed specific issues are being discussed. Deploy on strategic air movements tasks to provide assurance of their safe and secure conduct on behalf of the DNO duty holder. Carry out SQEP assessments of AWE Flight Safety Officers on behalf of the duty holder. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the roles of the various military and civilian organisations and agencies involved in strategic movements operations in the UK, USA, and France. Conduct active liaison with Defence Nuclear Enterprise stakeholders and international partners to ensure that strategic movements are planned to meet project requirements. Production and maintenance of documentation required to Manage processes and relationship with Defence Support Chain Operations and Movements Operations (DSCOM Ops) for booking modal strategic lift assets in support of DNO NTOG coordinated movement Train as an Operations Controller and/or Senior Operations Officer to support operations in the DNO NTOG Joint Operations Centre. Subject to training, fulfil a mobile operations support role to assist Nuclear Transport Operations Officers. Due to security constraints, this post is exempt from hybrid working requests. Requests for flexible and condensed working patterns can be considered but may be limited. Candidates should consider this and must discuss with recruiting line manager before submitting an application. This post attracts the NSQEP Recruitment Retention Allowance of up to 14,000 per annum. This allowance is discretionary and is dependent on a candidate's ability to successfully demonstrate and evidence their competence, qualifications, and experience to an independent panel of Subject Matter Experts. Person specification Essential Qualifications: Internal qualifications which can be achieved in role. Essential Skills: Computer literate with an understanding of all standard Microsoft Office 365 products.
