Illycaffè is an Italian company founded in Trieste in 1933 with the mission of offering the best coffee to the world. We are looking for a HR Business Partner UK & Ireland to join our HR Department reporting to the Managing Director UK & Ireland and to the Global Chief People
Officer.
As the HR Business Partner, stand alone position, you will act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and leadership team. You will oversee all HR operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance with employment law, global HR processes implementation and the continuous development of HR practices. You will be the primary point of contact for all HR matters, fostering a positive workplace culture and driving initiatives that support business growth and employee engagement
Key responsibilities and activities: • Act as a trusted advisor to management, providing expert guidance on all HR topics • Take responsibility for managing and maintaining the labour cost file, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of labour costs to support business planning and financial control and reporting to corporate HQ • Lead and deliver on HR lifecycle processes e.g. annual performance management cycle, annual salary review & benchmarking, talent management • Oversee organizational change initiatives, employee engagement programs, and performance management systems • Execute global training initiatives locally, localise global policies and procedures • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures • Analyze HR metrics and people analytics to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with all departments and stakeholders. • Champion company culture and values, driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with professionalism and integrity. • Providing day-to-day HR advice to management and employees on a wide range of issues. • Manage payroll with an external partner, which includes ensuring accuracy, processing payments, managing statutory payments, and handling associated HR administration, whilst support and guide employees with payroll and benefits-related queries
Education and Experience
• CIPD level 5 or above qualified, ideally with Chartered Member status. • 5 - 10 years strong generalist background with significant experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within FMCG
Knowledge/Skills
• High degree of business acumen with the interpersonal skills, courage and expertise to effectively influence business leaders • Evidenced ability to develop and deliver people propositions, gaining buy in and support from business leaders • Track record of initiating and supporting service line HR processes and change projects. • Ability to collaborate with other departments and all levels of associates / stakeholder management internal and external • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. • Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data. • Meticulous attention to detail with a 'can do' attitude
