As a General Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for
delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups. You will be expected to manage behaviour, support student learning, and ensure a calm, purposeful classroom environment. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and adaptability in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Adapt to different classroom environments and school routines.
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
* Engage students to ensure learning objectives are met.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and class activity.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Adaptable, flexible, and proactive in approach.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* A full employment history with references covering the last two years.
