Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.

Location: Fareham – Hybrid working with 2 days in the office

An exciting opportunity to join our P&C Regulatory Reporting based in Fareham. You will be working as part of a team who are responsible for the accuracy and data integrity of the monthly financial close.

The team ensures the expense allocations process is delivered accurately and on time. In this role you will use stakeholder management to ensure timely monthly reporting, alongside the use of automation to improve processes.

What will you be doing?

1. Ensuring expenses process is completed accurately and in a timely manner
2. Analysis of movements for Group financial reporting and Swiss GAAP
3. Balance sheet reporting, analysis, reconciliations and control
4. Managing internal and external stakeholders and developing strong relationships
5. Using initiative to identify challenges, propose and implement innovative solutions
6. Completing Control activities, ensuring adherence to the Control framework
7. Support members of the team during the close process, promoting and being involved in cross-training

What are we looking for?

8. Financial services experience.
9. Currently studying accountancy qualifiactions or willing to work towards.
10. Strong organisational skill, with an ability to prioritise and respond to unexpected events.
11. Ability to take ownership of tasks, seeing processes through to the end.
12. Interest in Financial Accounting Standards with experience an advantage.
13. Experience of working with people at different levels on financial issues.
14. Good knowledge of relevant technology including MS office applications.
