Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for a Transport/Warehouse Administrator to work for a beauty and healthcare products distribution company based in Severn Beach near Bristol (BS35). The position is temp to perm and you will be offered a permanent contract after being employed by Blue Arrow (a recruitment agency) for the first 12 weeks.
Due to the location, candidates will either need to live locally or have their own transport.
The client will offer you a nice and friendly environment to work in with a "family like" atmosphere. They will provide you with all the necessary training so it's a great opportunity for someone who wants to step up from working in a warehouse role and gain valuable admin (and possibly team leading) skills.
Working Hours and Pay:
* Tuesday to Saturday 06:00-14:00
* £14 per hour
As a Transport / Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
* Making and answering calls
* Writing and replying to emails
* Booking in lorries, chasing ETAs
* Liaising with customers and suppliers
* Briefing and debriefing drivers
* Creating and updating various spreadsheets
* Filing
* Helping in the warehouse with manual tasks such as picking from time to time
* Other duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements:
* Good Microsoft Office package knowledge
* Previous experience within warehouse or transport admin role is desirable
* Good understanding of warehousing operations such as goods in and goods out
* Ability to work as a part of a team as well as using own initiative
* Problem solving skills
* Good telephone manner
* Good level of written and verbal English
* Willingness to learn and gain new skills
* Ability to travel to Severn Beach (BS35)
