Position: Senior Logistics Manager

About the Role
Our client, a world-leading provider of innovative environmental solutions, is expanding its global footprint and requires an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead international shipping, fulfilment, and supply chain operations. This pivotal role is ideal for a logistics professional who excels in cost control, global coordination, and continuous improvement. You will ensure seamless delivery to customers worldwide—efficiently, compliantly, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Shipping Oversight: Plan and coordinate all international shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery across global markets.
2. Freight & Cost Control: Negotiate with carriers, monitor freight spend, and achieve consistent year-on-year cost savings while maintaining high service standards.
3. Customs & Compliance: Manage customs clearance processes and ensure full compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
4. Fulfilment & Warehousing: Source and manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Oversee inventory accuracy, warehousing efficiency, and scalable fulfilment operations.
5. Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop accurate logistics forecasts and budgets. Monitor variances, analyse performance, and propose corrective actions.
6. Risk & Process Management: Identify supply chain risks, maintain documentation, and standardise processes according to best practices.
7. Systems & Reporting: Use logistics management software and CRM tools to track shipments, optimise operations, and report KPIs to senior leadership.
About You
1. 5+ years' experience in international logistics, supply chain, or freight management.
2. Proven success in cost control and carrier negotiations across multiple regions.
3. Deep understanding of customs clearance, trade compliance, and global shipping regulations.
4. Experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations.
5. Skilled in forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.
6. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments across time zones.
7. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
8. Proficient with logistics systems, CRMs, and reporting tools.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working remotely.
