What You’ll Be Doing:
* Develop and maintain applications using Java as your core language.
* Work on backend services and integrate with SQL databases.
* Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior team members.
Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:
* Languages: Java (primary), SQL, Python
* Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs
* Cloud: AWS
* Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
* Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Coding Bootcamp graduates with hands-on experience in modern technologies OR STEM graduates from disciplines such as Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related fields, who are eager to apply analytical thinking to software development.
* Some experience with Java development (academic, commercial, or personal projects).
* Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
* Exposure to Python for scripting or automation tasks.
* Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS cloud services.
* Ability to work onsite in Newcastle 5 days a week or relocate.
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
