Senior Clinical Development Fellow in General Medicine
Join NHS Scotland as a Senior Clinical Development Fellow within the department of medicine at University Hospital Crosshouse, a large district general hospital situated 35 minutes south of Glasgow. The post runs until 4 August 2026 and is designed to support service delivery while providing development opportunities for post‑holders in acute medical care and procedural skills.

Key responsibilities:
* Acute medical assessment and management of unwell patients.
* Develop and refine procedural skills within the clinical setting.
* Participate in departmental quality improvement, audit and research initiatives.
* Take part in a rotational programme across two specialties, or remain within one specialty if this aligns with your career goals.
* Attend to a minimum of 4 hours of protected development time per week.
Requirements and qualifications:
* Completion of the UK Internal Medicine Training (IMT) programme or current level of IMT 3.
* At least 2 years of UK Internal Medicine Training or equivalent experience.
* Full MRCP (UK) qualification and full GMC registration with a current Licence to Practice.
* Minimum of 12 months paid NHS experience.
* Ability to act at Registrar level, including remote supervision out of hours.

* Salary based on the NHS Scotland £45 504 – £71 550 band, with an additional 40 % pay banding supplement for out‑of‑hours work.
* £1 250 study budget (pro‑rata) to support career development.
