The purpose of Driver role is to ensure safe, efficient delivery of goods to our Customers. Driver responsibilities will include, ensuring goods are safely secured,loading and unloading vehicle and ensuring vehicle is in a safe condition. The goal of our Drivers is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
·Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
·Comply with all EU driver’s hours / tachograph / WTD regulations
·Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
·Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with customers and the public
·Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
·Comply with all MOT and in-house regulations and rules
·Communicate and co-operate professionally with all employees
·Maintain high attendance levels ensuring any absence from work is reported immediately to line manager
·Follow and adhere to all Health and safety standards and regulations
·Follow and adhere to all HR process and procedures
·Completing or assisting with any duties within your capabilities as requested by your Line Manger
