Great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat. G4S is recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Weybridge for a global consumer health company. Contract Information: Pay Rate: £14.09 per hour Shift Pattern: 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the following week (will mainly be days but must be happy to also work nights) Shift Timings: Day shifts - 06:00am to 18:00pm & Night shifts - 18:00pm to 06:00am Hours: 42 hours a week SIA Licenses: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor. The site is not accessible via public transport for the start and finish times, so you will need to have access to your own vehicle. Your Time at Work - Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. - Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative - Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner - Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift - Confident in writing incident and shift reports - To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language. - To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded. - Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels. - To have a smart appearance befitting the company - Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties - Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested Our Perfect Worker - SIA Licence required - Must be flexible and be able to workdays, nights, weekends - Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times - Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills - Reliable, Responsible and Punctual - A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character - To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation - Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
