The Role
To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.

What we'll need you to bring
1. SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
2. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
5. Ability to work unsupervised.
6. To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
7. Working knowledge of basic information technology
It would be great if you also have
8. Up to date with NHS mandatory training/evidence of core training from external organisations
9. Experience of working within a healthcare setting
10. Experience working with people who have mental health/health care needs
11. Experience of working within health inpatient setting
12. Awareness of national and local mental health agenda
13. Evidence of experience in Dementia care with associated knowledge
14. Evidence of engagement in inter professional learning opportunities, self-directed study, and peer reflection
15. Ability to work flexible and unsocial hours
