Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
* Support the Head of Manufacturing to run the manufacturing workshop.
* Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Manage resources effectively, including people, equipment, and budgets, to meet delivery targets.
* Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and quality across the shop floor.
* Coach, mentor and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
* Strong background working in welding, fabrication and assembly environments.
* Degree or HNC qualified in an engineering discipline.
* Lean Six Sigma certified.
* Eligibility to undergo SC Clearance.
Location: Chorley | Employment type: Permanent | Salary: £60k‑£65k | Working Hours: 4‑day working week (Monday‑Thursday, Full Time).
