About The Role
We aim to drive transformative designs, technology, and solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on Climate Action and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. We seek individuals passionate about global challenges and proactive in integrating sustainable practices.
This role in the environmental management and sustainability (EM&S) sector involves consultancy projects in areas such as:
* Defence Environmental Assessments
* Support and preparation of Strategic/Outline Business Cases
* Environmental Management and Sustainability in wider markets
You will work with colleagues in the UK, Australia, and Canada, delivering projects for clients including the defence industry, managing environmental data, drafting reports, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring project delivery within schedule and budget. The role offers technical leadership and career progression opportunities.
Location flexibility is available across offices in Bath, Bristol, Fareham, Plymouth, Glasgow, London, Leeds, and Aberdeen, including remote and part-time options, with travel to client sites and offices as needed.
About You
We seek enthusiastic, flexible team members sharing our values of trust, respect, and collaboration. Requirements include:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an Environmental Discipline; MSc or PhD preferred.
* Approximately 3 years’ experience in environmental consultancy or related fields.
* Membership of a professional body such as IEMA, with proactive CPD management.
* Desirable: Maritime domain knowledge, environmental legislation understanding, experience in environmental impact assessments, and environmental management documentation.
* Strong communication skills, self-motivated, pragmatic problem-solver, adaptable, and team-oriented.
You must be eligible to work in the UK. We value adaptability and enthusiasm for learning, recognizing no one can know everything.
