Job Title: Production Operative
Line Manager: Production Team Leader
Summary of Duties:
* As a manufacturing operative on our 2pm – 10pm shift, you will follow on from our day shift operatives to ensure continuous production and prepare for production the next day.
* To follow a batch card process to manufacture Resincoat's products, ensuring quality checkpoints are recorded and met.
* To ensure shelf stock availability for all orders to be dispatched on time in full. All orders must be 'fit to pick' and pass our quality checks & testing
* To record all processes accurately using the Company systems
* To ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and timely manner
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing Machinery Operation:
* Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines and established procedures.
* Material Handling & Safety:
* Handle raw materials, components, and finished products using appropriate tools and equipment, following COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced, alerting supervisors when materials need to be reordered.
* Weighing and Measuring Components:
* Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and components required for resin products safely and accurately.
* Ensure that all materials are prepared according to production specifications, and any discrepancies are promptly reported.
* Mixing and Production Process:
* Carry out scheduled mixing of resin products as per instructions from the Production Team Leader.
* Record all product mixes accurately in the Operations Hub system, ensuring consistency in production.

* Numerically confident
* IT basic skills
Working Conditions:
* This role requires manual handling, lifting, standing for long periods, and working with warehouse equipment and chemicals.
* The work environment is primarily based in a warehouse setting, with exposure to various chemicals and manufacturing machinery.
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when handling chemicals or operating machinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.19-£14.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
