Overview
Lead Clinician role at 3 Dimensions Somerset, TA20 3AJ. An opportunity to manage an in-house Clinical Team within an education setting, working collaboratively with the schools Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead. The post holder will split time between clinically leading the team and supporting therapeutic interventions, coordinating whole-school and bespoke clinically informed approaches for pupils who may present with autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEMH needs. The role focuses on meeting EHCP needs through group and individual clinical approaches embedded in whole-school practice.

3 Dimensions Somerset TA20 3AJ. 3 Dimensions forms part of our Options Autism brand, an independent specialist day school for pupils aged 7-25.
Contract and Hours
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks or flexibility around term-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances). Hours: 37.5 per week, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 DOE & Clinical Discipline.
Responsibilities
* Lead and line-manage the onsite clinical team and coordinate service development of the clinical school-based service.
* Coordinate embedding of clinically informed approaches and interventions for pupils with complex needs due to autism, neurodivergence, trauma, and SEMH, in collaboration with school colleagues.
* Support the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead in delivering meeting targets for EHCPs via OFG all-group and individual clinical ways of working.
* Ensure a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach that involves pupils in decisions affecting them.
Essential Criteria
* Qualified Practitioner Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist or Psychotherapist (at least level 7).
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
* Knowledge and understanding of EHCPs.
* Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
