Role & Responsibilities:
To ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
* Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies
* Supervise & manage the restaurant team following company policies
* Work with the head chef and restaurant manager to maximize sales and meet targets
* Control stock and staff costs effectively
* Follow all hotel policies outlined in training manuals
* Ensure quick and efficient service of food and drinks to meet standards
* Train and support team members in their roles
* Conduct menu training when new menus are released
* Complete relevant administrative tasks to meet business needs
* Recruit and induct relevant staff following proper procedures
* Stay updated on current promotions and new products
* Inform guests about offers on food and drinks
* Assist with function and event setups as per procedures
* Maintain accurate billing and ensure all payments are collected
* Observe cleaning schedules, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
* Maintain standards to achieve relevant awards
* Ensure financial diligence and proper reporting
* Foster good communication and relationships with other departments
* Understand responsibilities related to fire procedures, health & safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid
