As a Cybersecurity Analyst, coming in to support the Cyber Security Lead, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization against evolving cyber threats. You'll proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security frameworks. This position drives strategic security initiatives and collaborates closely with IT teams to strengthen resilience.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage and monitor threat intelligence sources, analyse indicators and escalate findings
2. Execute cybersecurity awareness training, including simulated phishing exercises, Intranet posts and targeted training.
3. Conduct vulnerability scans, track remediation efforts and work with wider IT teams to manage vulnerability and patch compliance.
4. Handle and prioritize service tickets relating to cybersecurity incidents and requests.
5. Manage third party risk platforms, issue questionnaires and track responses to mitigate supply chain risks.
6. Collaborate with wider IT teams to plan and remediate security incidents, assist in containment, investigation and recovery.
7. Contribute to drafting and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards and playbooks.
