This outstanding hotel is looking to recruit a Head Chef to take the dining operation forward. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Head Chef with menus in the restaurant featuring a wide selection of modern British cuisine. All dishes are made with fresh seasonal produce sourced locally where possible. As this is a Head Chef role you will be responsible for leading a brigade of chefs and all areas of kitchen management including paperwork, implementation of hygiene legislation, financial performance, rotas, ordering and stock management.
Requirements:
An experienced passionate Head Chef, with experience in a quality fresh food property is required for this role. The hotel is a busy banqueting venue, also serving afternoon teas, Sunday lunches and Pizza. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
