Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you a confident and compassionate Behaviour Support/Mentor ready to guide students towards positive change? Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent behavioural and pastoral support. As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. You will act as a positive role model, helping students develop coping strategies, improve conduct, and build confidence within a structured school environment. Responsibilities of Behaviour Support/Mentor: Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring sessions. Implement behaviour support strategies and intervention plans. Build strong, professional relationships with pupils. Support students during lessons and unstructured times. Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams. Requirements: Previous experience in behaviour support, mentoring, or a similar role. Strong communication and de-escalation skills. A calm, consistent, and patient approach. Ability to manage challenging situations professionally. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
