Job Description
We are looking for an expereinced and high calibre Restaurant General Manager for our client in LEEDS.
You will be managing oversees daily operations, leads staff, and drives profitability, ensuring high-quality food, service, and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include recruiting and training employees, managing inventory and budgets, creating staff rotas, and handling customer inquiries. They often collaborate with chefs to plan menus and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
* Operational Leadership: Directing front-of-house and back-of-house staff, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and managing daily shifts.
* Customer Experience: Greeting guests, resolving complaints, and maintaining high service standards.
* Staff Management: Recruiting, interviewing, training, scheduling, and mentoring team members.
* Financial & Inventory Control: Managing budgets, tracking sales, monitoring stock levels, and ordering supplies.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience: Proven experience in restaurant management, often in fine dining, Michelin, or rosette environments.
* Leadership: Strong team management and motivational skills.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and staff.
* Attention to Detail: Focus on food quality, presentation, and service excellence.
* Knowledge: Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software etc
