We are looking for an Operations Manager to join us at our Derby site (DE65 6BE) on a full-time, permanent basis. The working schedule is predominantly Monday - Friday, working 07:00 to 16:00 (9 hour shifts) with some level of flexibility. The Role As the Operations Manager at our Derby site, you will oversee warehouse operations and ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations through continuous improvement. Specifically, youll deliver best practice in warehouse processes for our customers and manage the WMS (Warehouse Management System) to ensure we are compliant with our contractual agreements. Youll also ensure that WMS processes are completed at all relevant locations and ASN (Advanced Shipping Notices) are processed in line with agreed targets. Overseeing goods picking through accurate instructions and quarterly checks, you will implement warehouse projects, support new implementation activities and take budgetary responsibility for warehousing. You will regularly meet with key team members and colleagues and support communication with concerns, issues and variances, enabling line managers to take action where needed.
