Marketing Executive Glasgow Up to £35,000 Job Overview We are looking for a Search & Social Marketing Executive to take hands-on responsibility for day-to-day paid search and paid social activity across a portfolio of clients. This role has a strong social media focus, so proven experience in managing and optimising social channels is essential. The successful candidate will plan, launch and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and paid social platforms, with a clear emphasis on driving growth, engagement and conversions. Alongside paid activity, the role will support organic social output, content creation and performance reporting, ensuring activity delivers measurable commercial outcomes rather than just reach or impressions. Key Responsibilities Paid Search & Paid Social Plan, build and manage Google PPC campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation and budget management Launch, optimise and scale paid social campaigns across relevant platforms (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) Monitor performance daily, adjusting bids, budgets, targeting and creative to improve results Run structured A/B testing on ads, audiences, messaging and formats to continually improve performance Maintain a strong conversion focus, ensuring campaigns drive enquiries, leads and sales Social Media & Content Manage and support client social media accounts, ensuring consistent, on-brand output Help generate, adapt and repurpose content for use across paid and organic social channels Work with existing content to improve engagement and guide audiences through the funnel Reporting & Optimisation Track and analyse campaign performance using platform data and analytics tools Produce clear, jargon-free performance updates for clients and internal teams Identify what’s working, what isn’t, and recommend clear next steps based on data Balance short-term performance improvements with longer-term optimisation strategies Skills & Experience Proven experience in paid social and social media management Hands-on experience managing Google Ads / PPC campaigns Strong understanding of targeting, audiences, conversion tracking and performance metrics Comfortable working with budgets and performance data Experience testing and refining creative, copy and messaging Ability to explain performance and insights in plain English Desirable Experience working agency-side or across multiple clients Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. GA4, platform insights) Basic content creation or copywriting experience Personal Attributes Commercially minded, with a clear focus on results and ROI Organised and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once Curious and proactive, with a testing and optimisation mindset Confident communicating performance and recommendations to clients
