Job Title: Investment Administrator
We are recruiting for a Financial Planning practice near Godalming seeking an Investment Administrator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be competent and motivated, reporting to the Client Investment Oversight Function. Responsibilities include executing client trades, maintaining audit trails, and processing notes, requiring a background in investment. The role also involves administrative tasks for the Investment Management Committee (IMC).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive the investment switching process and follow-up administration, including:
* Following up on client responses for investment reviews and new investments
* Ensuring contributions align with reports
* Updating phased buys with model portfolios
* Verifying sufficient cash for clients with regular withdrawals
* Processing client withdrawal requests from verification to fund transfer
* Reviewing and submitting investment switch data with peer review
* Maintaining complete audit trails and process notes for each transaction
* Reconciling contract notes within two weeks
* Updating the Client Investment Oversight officer on progress and trends
1. Support the Client Investment Oversight team by:
* Amending templates for Transact & Nucleus to reflect IMC outcomes
* Updating Fastrak Model Portfolios accordingly
* Ensuring IMC output is accurately reflected in the Risk Matrix
* Maintaining fund risk sheets using in-house risk modelling tools
* Facilitating bulk mailouts to clients, especially near tax year-end
* Providing weekly fund reports to monitor trends
* Conducting structured fund research under guidance
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and data protection laws
* Performing ad hoc tasks as needed
