About The Role
We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Team Leader to play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation, upkeep and continuous improvement of the Crieff Hydro Estate. You will support the Maintenance Manager in leading and coordinating a busy, multi‑skilled team, prioritising workloads across guest bedrooms, public areas, leisure facilities and back‑of‑house spaces to maintain the site at a high standard.
This is a hands‑on leadership position where you will split your time between supervising the team and carrying out general maintenance and repairs. The workload is varied and fast‑paced, requiring you to be organised, adaptable and focused on safety, quality and guest experience.
What We Need From You
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a maintenance, facilities or building environment
- Good all‑round practical skills, with working knowledge of:
- Painting and decorating
- Joinery
- Plumbing
- General building maintenance
- A clear understanding of building services and maintenance operations
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety, safe systems of work and compliance requirements
- A team player who supports and motivates others
- A pride in your own work, delivering a high-quality level
- A positive, proactive approach that thrives in a busy, dynamic environment
- Can adapt to changing priorities and workloads
- Excellent customer service skills and be an ambassador for Crieff Hydro, as you will regularly interact with guests
