Infrastructure Engineer – Chippenham – AWS Administrator – 6 Month Contract My client needs an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and apply changes to AWS systems across the production and development environments. The contract will include a mixture of Project and BAU work. The successful candidate will have a strong background with AWS Administration, Microsoft stack and networking. Technology and Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer: Must have proven experience of AWS Systems Administration. Other systems such as Azure may be considered. Must have Strong Microsoft Stack skills including extensive experience using Windows Server, AD and Intune. Experience within a virtual environment is necessary using Hyper V. Other virtual environments may also be considered. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues. Any networking skills are beneficial. Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure engineer: Maintain the AWS infrastructure for production and development environments. Administer and support the Microsoft stack using Windows Server, HyperV, Office 365 admin, AD and Intune. Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades and patch management. Provide support and configuration for networking tools such as Dell and Juniper switches. The Successful Infrastructure engineer must be commutable to Chippenham.
