Job Summary - Barista and front of house assistant. Full and Part time available.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves various responsibilities, including serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the café environment. A passion for coffee and food service is a plus, as is experience with POS systems.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently.
* Prepare and serve beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
* Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
* Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including dining tables, counters, and equipment.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
* Experience as a barista or in coffee preparation is a plus.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Working Hours & Benefits
* Closed every Sunday.
* Shift patterns would fall between these hours:
* Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 9am – 5pm
* Thurs: 9am – 7pm
* Sat: 9am – 2pm (early finish)
* City centre location with excellent transport links.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
