We are currently accepting applications for Program Worker to join our Adult Day Department - Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Sackville.
Qualifications
* Continuing Care Assistant Certification, or equivalent
* Diploma from an accredited post-secondary educational institution:
* 2 year Therapeutic Recreation Diploma
* One year of releveant work experience required
* Previous Alzheimeras experience required
* Previous recreational experienced considered an asset
* Food Handlers certificate requred
* Alzheimer's course certidficate required
* CPR and First Aid certificate required
* Crisis Management certificate considered an asset
* Demonstrated computer skills, knowledge and experience in Word and Microsoft Outlook
* Must have regular and consistent attendance within the Northwood corporate standard.
