Overview
Ringway Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Construction Team in Cheshire. The role will support the delivery of an end-to-end highways capital programme, including carriageway and footway improvements, structural patching, surface treatment programmes, road marking renewals, vehicle restraint system works, and street furniture enhancements. As Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, planning, programming, and organising on-site delivery of the Council’s highways improvement programme, along with any additional workstreams commissioned to the Construction Team, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
The Role
* Supervision of allocated works within the annual programme of works.
* Ensuring that projects are developed and delivered safely on time and to budget as per the Works Information.
* Ensure that all projects comply with Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
* Review of Supply Chain Partners Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH for all allocated schemes.
* Carry out site inductions and issue permit to work, promoting RJ’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Procedures at all times.
About You
* Preference will be given to candidates holding some or all of the following qualifications: NRSWA Supervisor, SSSTS, SMSTS, CSCS Supervisor, Temporary Works Supervisor, First Aid at Work.
* Experience working in the construction industry, preferably highways.
* Experience undertaking construction work in the vicinity of underground services.
* Experience in the supervision or use of traffic management.
* Current, Full Driving Licence.
