About the role
Join our Health & Safety team based in Brighton, supporting teams across our office and manufacturing sites. You will promote best practices, safety culture, and a positive working environment.
* Manage inbox requests, coordinate meetings, and support safety forum follow-up.
* Arrange site visits and inspections, preparing documentation and safety arrangements.
* Conduct site walks to monitor compliance, engage employees, and identify improvements.
* Develop and deliver health and safety training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and mandatory courses.
* Maintain safety documentation such as risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
* Record and analyse safety data to support investigations and continuous improvement.
* Stay updated with health and safety legislation through training and professional development.
* Respond to urgent safety concerns and support incident resolution.
* Assist in internal and external audits, contributing to preparations and action plans.
* Collaborate with departments to embed safety into daily practices.
* Travel to Eastbourne as required.
What we are looking for
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a complex workload with high attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety policies, legislation, or similar industry experience.
