We are delighted to invite candidates to apply to work with us in this dynamic and expanding Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. The post is based at York and Scarborough Hospitals for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. There are a total of 10 PAs available for this post and flexible job plans, including part‑time work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contributing to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on‑call rota, covering North Yorkshire on a 1:6 basis (7‑day pattern with Friday morning handover).
* Working independently in clinic and theatre, requiring full GMC registration and sufficient specialty experience.
* Providing clinical care, participating in teaching for medical students, and engaging in research opportunities.
Qualifications and experience:
* Full GMC registration.
* Demonstrated experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, able to work independently in clinic and theatre.
