What You'll Do: Lead Research: Drive user research projects, partnering with Designers, Developers, Analysts, and Service Design/Data Science teams to deliver actionable insights. Innovate & Experiment: Use a full range of qualitative and quantitative methods-guerrilla testing, workshops, persona creation, card sorting-to uncover user needs and test new ideas. Shape Strategy: Devise research strategies, analyze findings, and translate insights into recommendations that guide service design and development. Mentor & Collaborate: Support junior researchers, foster a collaborative team culture, and champion the integration of user insights throughout the design process. What We're Looking For: Government Experience: Strong background in government digital projects, ideally with hands-on GDS experience. Research Expertise: Extensive practical experience in qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and audience modelling. Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with Service Design and Data Science teams, and to mentor others.
