Quantity Surveyor
Our client is a growing Cheshire based general contractor delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality projects. They place strong emphasis on excellent service for clients and stakeholders and specialise in commercial, residential, education and leisure refurbishments. Projects are delivered across traditional and design-and-build contracts, with values ranging from £250k to £10m+.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and play a key role in the financial management of refurbishment and retrofit projects. Working closely with project and leadership teams, the successful candidate will support the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring commercial control and value are maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the pre-construction process, including cost planning, tender analysis and contract negotiations
2. Manage project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting
3. Prepare and agree subcontractor packages and manage subcontractor accounts
4. Monitor and manage variations, change control and risk
5. Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
