Salary:
1. PAYE: £16.10 per hour
2. Umbrella: £20.92 per hour
Are you passionate about developing others and raising standards across social care services? Network Recruitment Wales is recruiting a Social Care Assistant Trainer to support the Social Care and Health Directorate in Monmouthshire during a period of increased demand. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your frontline social care experience and training expertise to make a real difference to the workforce and the people they support.
What You’ll Do:
3. Deliver engaging, high-quality learning and development opportunities to the social care workforce and partner organisations.
4. Support the development of essential skills, knowledge, and best practice across children’s and adults’ social care services.
5. Work closely with Workforce Development Officers and Training Organisers to plan, deliver, and evaluate training programmes.
6. Facilitate learning through a variety of methods, including face-to-face, digital, and e-learning platforms.
7. Support social care staff with registration and re-registration requirements with Social Care Wales.
8. Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and evaluation data.
9. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all learning activities.
What We’re Looking For:
10. Experience working in a frontline social care or health setting.
11. A recognised social care qualification (or equivalent).
12. A training qualification () or proven experience delivering training.
13. Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the confidence to engage diverse audiences.
14. Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office.
15. Ability to work independently, manage workloads, and meet deadlines.
16. Flexibility to deliver training during evenings or weekends when required.
17. Welsh language skills are desirable.
Essential Requirements:
18. Eligibility to work in the UK.
19. Enhanced DBS check (Children and Adults Barred Lists).
20. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business-use insurance.
21. Criminal Convictions Declaration.
22. Signed Confidentiality Agreement.
23. Minimum of 2 years’ references/work history.
