Job Description – Health Care Assistant
Location: Northcare Residences Glasgow, Clarkston
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time. Rotas available, 7 shifts over a 14 day period working 8am – 9pm
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
* Providing personal care and support to residents
* Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
* Supporting residents with meals and hydration
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
* Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
* Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
* Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
What We’re Looking For
* A caring, respectful, and patient approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability and professionalism
* Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
* Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
