The Cedars school is located in Leicestershire, LE9, sharing the same site as our Cedars residential home, and is a small specialist school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Condition (ASD/ASC). Our school is just north of a town called Hinckley and is easily accessible from Nuneaton, Leicester and some areas of Coventry.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our close-knit team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with small pupil groups across both academic and vocational subjects and who shares our passion for supporting young people with additional needs. You’ll bring patience, creativity, and a flexible approach to learning, helping pupils to achieve their best outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

1. Have a strong understanding of learners with additional needs.
2. Support the development and delivery of high-quality, bespoke education.
3. Work closely with teachers, professionals, and care staff to provide a holistic package of support.
4. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
5. Experience supporting students with SEMH needs or in a secondary school setting

Please note, Hexagon Care Services does not hold a sponsorship licence and as such we are unable to support any candidates who do not already have right to work. This is a permanent position, if you have right to work but with an expiry date, we are more than welcome to receive your application but please note you would only be eligible for an interim contract linked to your RTW expiry.
