About the Role
The Shift Manager will be the main point of contact for the team during their working day in the Buffets restaurant department. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience. You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions. This is an operational, guest-facing role; non-guest-facing tasks will be allocated within your working hours to maximize your presence in the venue and with guests.
Typical working hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 split shifts. Breakfast shifts are from 7:30 am to 12 pm, dinner shifts from 4 pm to 8 pm.
About You
We are seeking an experienced leader from a volume-led F&B environment who can support the team to deliver excellent service. You should prioritize guest satisfaction, have experience in training and coaching teams in a lively environment, and be capable of leading in busy restaurant or food settings where speed and quality are crucial. Confidence in directing and responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards is essential. You should be able to motivate and engage your team, even during high demand periods, and manage multiple priorities with adaptability. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire your team to achieve outstanding results daily are required.
