Construction | Refurbishment & Fit-Out Projects
South of England (Multi-Site Role)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Package (DOE)
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable SHEQ Business Partner to join our growing construction team, working across a portfolio of refurbishment and fit-out projects throughout the South of England.
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Compliance Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative and experienced SHEQ department, supporting safe delivery across multiple live sites. Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert SHEQ guidance across multiple refurbishment and fit-out sites.
* Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure best practice and regulatory adherence.
* Support the development, review, and implementation of RAMS, safe systems of work, and SHEQ documentation.
* Partner with Project Managers and Site Teams to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
* Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
* Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and training materials to enhance on-site safety culture.
* Assist the Compliance Manager with SHEQ initiatives, reporting, and departmental projects.
* Promote a proactive, positive culture of safety and quality across all operational teams.
Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent SHEQ qualification.
* Experience in the construction sector, ideally within refurbishment, fit-out, interiors, or similar environments.
* Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation, compliance standards, and ISO frameworks.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South of England.
* Excellent communication, engagement, and influencing skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing your own workload independently.
