We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and resilient member to join our growing Senior Management Team to conduct our recruitment procedures at a growing Residential Care Home provider. This is an exciting opportunity for anybody looking to develop in a fast-paced, dedicated and caring organisation.

Job Summary

To provide business service/ administration procedures within the organisation with a key focus on intense compliance recruitment checks, to support the homes and Senior Management Team advertising to quickly filling posts with the right candidates. Contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team within Danforth Care Homes.

Key Responsibilities

* To assist the Home Manager with the recruitment of team members, ensuring that the process is followed accurately and consider relevant legislative requirements including protected characteristics.
* Post attractive adverts when requested; screen all CV's / applications and create a shortlist of suitable applicants. Support the Homes to arrange interviews.
* Make employment offers and produce offer letters for candidates, keeping in touch throughout the wait to employment.
* Complete thorough reference checks to cover employment history and complete DBS checks.
* Update recruitment trackers and ladders, and ensure always fully understand what vacancies are available, and update accordingly when starters are pending.
* Where necessary, support in arranging start dates.
* Effective resource planning and manage cost controls to deliver a first-class, but sustainable, volume recruitment service.
* Providing a hands-on approach and ensuring agreed targets are met.
* Managing relationships and producing management reports
* Understand the benefits associated with working with Danforth Care Homes and be able to explain them to applicants.
* To perform any reasonable administration duties as required by the Senior Management Team (i.e., diary management, travel arrangements, etc).

The post will be for 40 hours per week, working Monday-Friday with occasional support required in addition based on the needs of the business. This is a office based role and no hybrid working.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
